Hello All, We have had a lot of new members join recently which is great for the forum but as the forum grows it becomes increasingly difficult remembering everyone and their systems, I find myself reading through threads just to remind myself which model they own or which OS they are using. Advice can vary wildly depending on individual set up, so this information is important. Your country of residence can useful too, like when discussing options for TV Tuners and other regional specific choices. You don't need to list everything, just adding your model and operating system will be a big help. Members have only been able to add this useful information to their signature before, and still can, but now I have also added the option to add this info to your profile and "Mini Profile" (see below) I have added preselected questions, drop down menus and buttons to make sharing your system specification easier than ever. To update/add your system information/location (all optional)... Click on the "Profile" link in the navigation bar, Click the "Edit Profile" button (to the right of your name), Select "Personal" from the tabbed menu at the top, Input/Edit any of the options you choose, Don't forget to click "Save Personal Settings". That's it, all done. Just a few minuets of your time and it could save you a lot of head ache later on. If you would like to suggest extra options or corrections for the profile fields, please do so here. Many Thanks Oliver

Now that's a good plan. I might be an idea to an optical drive option for DVD, Blu-ray and Disc Changers.

Sounds great. I'll get mine together. Is there a way to post some on-going summary stats gleaned from this user info (like # users of each model, # running each OS, etc)? I'd be curious to know, or perhaps an added detail in the members directory ?

Just noticed that it does have the side effect of making little posts rather big.
Mind the gap.

Now that's a good plan. I might be an idea to an optical drive option for DVD, Blu-ray and Disc Changers. Added. You might want to update your options :/ Sounds great. I'll get mine together. Is there a way to post some on-going summary stats gleaned from this user info (like # users of each model, # running each OS, etc)? I'd be curious to know, or perhaps an added detail in the members directory ? I guess it is possible, the question is will I be able to that with very limited coding knowledge. I will see if I can install an addon, or if someone has made same code, but I doubt I'll be able to do this, sorry. Shame as it would be very intresting Just noticed that it does have the side effect of making little posts rather big. Mind the gap. Unfortunately that is the trade of. I have removed some spacings to compress it down a bit so it's not quite so large now. I hope members will choose carefully which options they decide to fill out to keep the gap as small as possible, I might see if I can widen the mini profile a bit too. Or just write longer posts <<EDIT>> I've managed to widen the mini profile a little, so that should help <<EDIT>> Thank you both for your feedback, I believe this is a useful feature and I will continue to tweak it.

Hi all,
The BIOS options have been updated with the upcoming release of the MrBig BIOS Project V1.2. If you don't update your bios option, don't worry your old selection will remain
Cheers, Oliver
