Not sure to ask here in Hardware or over in Software ? Also, if this has already been discussed, I checked but didn't see it. I was looking around for something to do batch ripping of DVD's with my XL1B. I recall being able to do this with CD's. So far I've managed to stumble onto THIS but haven't tried it yet. Any thoughts, suggestions or recommendations ?

Thanks Oliver ! I have downloaded MediaDog's GUI app and the screen shots actually look familiar to me from a past go at this - in a previous life of my XL2 :-) FYI- the links for Mediadog over at AVS are stale (the Orig Post was from 2007). I just went to "http://mediadogg.com/" and that will get you to his homepage in case anyone else has an interest. However, browsing through the AVS thread you've posted, the last entry there (#370) declares: AVSforum people can be a little daft so I'll take my chances and see for myself. If I get anywhere good with DVD batch ripping I'll post an update(s) here.
