Guys
Can anyone help me, I have a Sony XL302 that has gone POP. I think the two 250gb drives are fine. I had on the two drives c: d: e:.
The problem is how can I get the data off because the data spans over two virtual drives.
My question is if I got a sata caddy and connected the two drives together and plug it into a USB port on another computer would I see all the three virtual drives

That would be a tough one, I am not aware of any readily available and cheap software that would do this.
The one option that comes to mind is to find another system that has the Intel ICH8R southbridge and just plug the drives in with RAID mode enabled, this would allow you to recover the data assuming there is no corruption. You could in theory do this with ICH9R or ICH10R but the safest way would be to find any other system that uses ICH8R. The drives contain the array information so you do not have to recreate the array manually, doing so would just erase the data.
I've done this 2-3 times over the years but there is no guarantee.
