I have recently upgraded my Sony Vaio VGX-XL201 to Windows 7 SP1 and graphics card to a Nvidia Geforce GT730. Previously, I was running Windows XP SP3.
Does anyone know if Windows 7 SP1 can run Sony Sonicstage Mastering Studio which I used to convert audio to digital. I was then able to use Windows XP SP3 to convert the audio from WMA to WAV or MP3 by right clicking the track and selecting the conversion from the drop-down list. Windows 7 does not have such a facility.
If there is an alternative program that will do both jobs, could someone advise me please. I have iTunes, Sony Sonicstage and Windows Media Player to play, rip or burn.
Thanks in anticipation. Mark

Hi Mark,
I have used Sonic Stage Mastering Studio on Windows 7 without issues as I recall.. ..it also runs on Windows 10, seemingly without issue.
You just need to bear in mind that it is a 32-bit piece of software, so if you have installed Windows 7 64 bit, it may not run.
Hope this helps.
