Hello everybody! I have a VGX-XL1. Thanks to this comunity i have made some changes. Right now is running Windows 7 professional, 4gb RAM, Blu ray DVD, 2 Tb HDD , Ge Force GT 1030and , a b/g/n wi fi adapter card , Rii mini keyboard and a USB bluetooh transmiter. I downloaded Power DVD 16 in order to manage th Blu Ray DVD and downloaded snappy Drive so i was able to download a driver wich brought back to life my TV tuner /audio video receiver card
I was not able to change CPU.I downloaded Mr. Big Bios succesfully but everytime i try to change CPU i start to get the BSOD after an hour, but even with the 820 CPU i am getting a very good performance!.
The Problem i have right now is that there is no S PDIF out or headphones out! I dont know when i loose it because i was using analog output until now that i connected S PDIF. So i have been trying EVERYTHING, without positive result.
When i look at device manager, there are no devices with ! marked, apparently all devices are workin. There are no devices with realtek name. I even try to download drivers from Realtek website and i get THERE ARE NO DRIVER TO CONTROLL WITH THIS PACKAGE.
Is there anyone else who has been trough this? How can this be solved? thanks in advance and best regards!

Have you installed the Sigmatel Audio Driver? Is your W7 32 or 64 bit, as there's only a Sigmatel Audio Driver for 32 bit W7.

Hello! I had Sigmatel Audio Driver instaled, but now it is not working properly either. I have a second VGX XL1A with Windows XP and S pdif is working properly and can handle up to 7.1 channel. Both machines are 32 bit.
Now in the VGX XL1A running Windows 7 there is no S PDIF icon anywhere and i used to have only 2 channel out trough HDMI and 2 channel out trough RCA but no multichannel. I have try so hard to find and install a proper driver than now i have no audio out trough 2 channel RCA aither, but i can see the icon at playback devices.
I relly hope you can help me. I cant tell you how much i like my VGXs! Thans a lot in advance!

Not sure how much help I can give as I'm no expert, but looking back at my VGX-XL100 W7 upgrade notes I installed the following driver:
Is this what you have installed? Could it be your Graphics Card Ge Force GT 1030 driver is somehow over-riding the Sony Spdif?

Hello Wheeker: Unfortunatelly, the link no longer exist. Do you know about somewhere else i can look for the driver? About the Spdif out , i tough about the nvidia driver could be the issue too. Do you think i should uninstall it and try? Thanks a lot!
